APLS, ATLS and PALS courses. That is, a 'Provider' course is taken initially. For those who pass and are recommended, an 'Instructor's' course can be taken. To maintain ALSO certification a 'Refresher' course must be taken every three years.

The ALSO ^® intensive training course consists of a written syllabus, lectures and hands-on procedures using 'manikins'. Formal evaluation is via a multiple choice question paper and a 'Megadelivery' practical examination.

This course is suitable to claim for CME Points and to count towards PREP requirements.

Courses are run all over the United Kingdom (and internationally). 

In the UK the fee ranges from £390 to £440 (extra charges of £50 are made to non-NHS or overseas candidates). The course fee does not include overnight accommodation.  Payment can be made from Cheque/Debit/Credit cards.
